The
College:
Tennessee Wesleyan takes pride in its role as a small church-related college affiliated with the United Methodist Church--a
tradition known for its historical commitment to the union of "knowledge and vital piety." That commitment continues to shape the
character and mission of the College. In keeping with the spirit of the liberal arts, Tennessee Wesleyan College seeks within the framework
of the Judeo-Christian tradition to provide for students the highest quality educational experience, to promote a personal life-style founded
on integrity, responsibility, meaning, and purpose, and to prepare students for a life of leadership and service in an ever changing global
community.
Residence Life is the on-campus living/dining environment which provides
an enriching part of a student's education. The College operates both men's and women's residence halls, and a new apartment facility. All
full-time, day students who do not reside with their parents within commuting distance are required to live in college housing and must participate
in the college meal program. Tennessee Wesleyan College offers a wide variety of Student Activities throughout the academic year. Activities
such as Snow Skiing, White Water Rafting, 3-on-3 Basketball, Ice Skating, Phase Ten Tournaments, Billiards, Rook, Sand Volleyball, Movie Nights,
