The University:
The Lincoln Memorial University is a values-based learning community dedicated to providing educational experiences in the liberal arts and professional studies. The University strives to give students a foundation for a more productive life by upholding the principles of Abraham Lincoln's life: a dedication to individual liberty, responsibility, and improvement; a respect for citizenship; a recognition of the intrinsic value of high moral and ethical standards; and a belief in a personal God. The main 1,000-acre campus is nestled in the scenic Appalachian Mountains where Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia merge at the historic Cumberland Gap.

The academic program at Lincoln Memorial University consists of offerings from the four undergraduate schools: Carter and Moyers School of Education, the DeBusk School of Business, the Hamilton School of Arts and Sciences, and the Caylor School of Nursing and Allied Health. To help satisfy the wide scope of interests, many challenging and fulfilling extracurricular activities are offered. Special clubs and organizations, professional and honor societies, radio and television stations as well as dances, plays, games and contests help ensure an active and wholesome social life.
