Sierra Nevada College is a four-year, independent, nonsectarian liberal arts college with a fifth-year teacher certification program. The mission of the College is to provide a high-quality education in a personalized environment designed to prepare students for successful lives and careers. Living in Tahoe means taking active to the next extreme. After all, on our campus alone we have a slew of clubs and organizations to keep you busy. Sierra Nevada College believes that there is more to residential living than having a place to eat, sleep and study. Student Housing is a place for students to develop friendships, participate in activities and become an active member of the community. The Residence Life Office seeks to nurture and develop these skills for the benefit of housing residents and the entire Sierra Nevada College Community.
