The College:
As a liberal arts college, Rocky provides the same academic level of education as universities that offer four-year bachelor degrees. But Rocky offers small classes--the average class size is 16--so you will get to know your classmates, and you can easily make appointments with your professors to ask further questions, get advice, or receive assistance. While several professors are engaged in ongoing research and publishing, their primary focus is in the classroom helping students. Within the 36 major areas of study, you will find professors who are highly qualified and who care about your success as a student

The College's approximate enrollment of 800 features students from 40 or more states and as many as 20 foreign countries. They study majors as diverse as the biological sciences and aviation studies, English and accounting, music and equestrian studies. Binding all majors together is a strong, common liberal arts core taken by students in all four-year programs. We like to think that when they are graduated our students are ready for the post-baccalaureate challenges and opportunities before them: statistics prove that they are.
