The College:
Regis College is a Catholic liberal arts and sciences women's college. It was founded in 1927 by the Congregation of Sisters
of St. Joseph of Boston and has more than 10,000 graduates worldwide.The College offers full- and part-time study on the undergraduate and
graduate levels. Located in Weston, Massachusetts, Regis College is in the greater metropolitan area of Boston, twelve miles from the center
of the city. The College occupies a suburban, 168-acre site which was originally the Morrison estate. There are more than 1,300 students (full-time,
part-time, undergraduate and graduate) who form a community of women scholars able to express their best selves in pursuit of academic excellence
at Regis
As a women's college, Regis College reaffirms its pledge to provide an education that heightens awareness of the roles of women in today's
society. For this reason, Regis College continues to encourage each woman to develop her own potential and to cultivate confidence in her
ability to become a positive influence on society. The entire climate of the College, which encourages student involvement, enhances the opportunities
for women to develop into leaders of the future. Regis College has a number of different ways that students can get involved in campus activities.
Whether it's joining one of our close to 30 clubs and organizations or attending our annual Spring Weekend, the goal of the Student Activities
Office is to enhance the lives of Regis Women. Students can join the Student Government Association, the Board of Programmers, AHANA, or learn
to be a DJ at the WRGS radio station. If you enjoy acting or dancing, there are also opportunities for you!
