The University:
Hawai'i Pacific University was founded in 1965 and has grown to approximately 8,000 students, including 2,000 students from
more than 100 countries.
Only 12 km apart and connected by a free shuttle service, the university operates two distinct campuses as one. The urban campus, located
in downtown Honolulu, provides a fast-paced, exciting business environment. The windward Hawai'i Loa campus, situated on 135 acres of tropical
greenery, offers students an idyllic campus setting with dormitories and athletic facilities.
As a comprehensive university with a global perspective, HPU offers you all the features you would expect of a university - a variety of
academic options, internationally respected faculty, outstanding facilities - yet also the personal attention and small class sizes you normally
associate with a small, private college.
Beyond the classroom, you will find exciting internships and cooperative education opportunities related to your field of study. You will
also be a part of an active, involved student body where participation is encouraged and opportunities are plentiful.
